KURAR

KURAR, born 1983 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, is a self-taught urban artist known for his street art. He began expressing himself artistically in the 90s, first exploring graffiti and collage, then focusing on the stencil technique. KURAR is recognized for his unique approach, which blends humor and social criticism through the representation of childhood, symbolizing innocence, to address issues such as war, religion and consumer society. His work is marked by strong visual contrast, using mainly shades of gray enhanced by touches of bright color, creating a significant visual impact and prompting reflection on the excesses of our society. The artist has held numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world, from Paris to Miami, via Montreal and Brussels. Her committed works offer a vision of the world that is often cynical and ironic, yet imbued with hope. Thanks to his success, KURAR has been able to collaborate with other renowned artists and extend his influence internationally.
